Guelph Storm (OHL): The Storm are now on holiday break, but it was a very, very good week before holidays! Last Wednesday, it was the Storm that did the attacking in Owen Sound, beating the Attack 3-2, and then they headed to Peterborough on Friday where the Storm were again victorious, beating the Petes 7-5. On Saturday, the Storm moved on to the Soo where it was a tight game against the Greyhounds that was only resolved with a shoot out where Guelph emerged victorious again 3-2. The Storm will be back in action at the Sleeman Centre against the Erie Otters on Thursday December 28, but Matt Poitras will be spending the next few weeks helping Team Canada win gold at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship in Sweden.
