The opposition NDP says papers retrieved through a Freedom of Information request shows that when the Ontario government was choosing someone to oversee the redevelopment of Ontario Place, they made sure that they didn’t need to approve someone that submitted an application or followed the guidelines.

OUTBREAKS: The spiking number of COVID-19 outbreaks in the last few weeks have mostly been wrapped up, only the outbreak on the Royal on Gordon remains in effect. There has however been an increase in the number of respiratory outbreaks, there’s now three around the region between St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Village of Riverside Glen, and Wellington Terrace in Fergus. There’s also now an enteric outbreak at Strathcona Long-Term Care home in Mount Forest.
